Kelly Michelle Stables is a St. Louis Missouri native that performed in The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and theater. Following her move from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she took part in theater arts. This included acting as well as conducting over 20 musicals. Some of these productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. In addition to continuing her studies in Improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV as well as in films. Kelly's unique voice and small dimensions have let her perform a wide range of characters. She was known to the public for taking on the role of the evil Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. However Kelly is more well-known as the cheerful and bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly was a paralegal during the day and a party night hopper as a Series Regular for the TV Land sitcom The Exes. Kelly also appeared in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW series No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been used in several shows including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she appeared playing the dim-witted but lovable Cloud 9 Employee on NBC's well-known comedy Superstore. She is married with two young kids and lives in a quiet home. She likes to write, sew and volunteer in schools.
